The award-winning 5-star hotel, The Playford Mgallery by Sofitel, is a boutique hotel in the heart of Adelaide on vibrant North Terrace. The hotel features a 24-hour fitness center with a heated pool and sauna. Located opposite the Adelaide Convention Center and Adelaide Casino, The Playford is only a 10-minute walk to Adelaide Oval and the local shopping area of Rundle Mall is just 1476 feet away. The vibrant streets of the West End, filled with bars and restaurants, are only around the corner and the tram to the beachside suburb of Glenelg departs from outside the hotel. Each classically designed room features high ceilings, work desks, air conditioning, a TV with cable channels and a marble private bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities and a mini-bar are also available in the rooms. Some suites have a spa bath, separate living area and small kitchenette. Being a city based hotel, views from the rooms may be limited. Facilities include a 24-hour reception desk, a business center, valet parking facilities and a guest laundry. The tour desk can assist with day tours to the wine regions of the Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale as well as provide advice on things to see and do in town. The tram to Glenelg Beach departs from around the corner. We are pleased to announce we will be upgrading the pool area commencing mid-August and the gym area beginning of September.
